Cabin beds are raised beds with storage underneath. They are sometimes know as captains beds. Sometimes the foot of the cabin bed has shelves built in and there is often a pull out desk or computer shelf underneath the bed. Most cabin beds are designed for children and therfore come in single bed sizes. Cabin beds are often positioned against a wall so the storage is usually on one side only.
